Bangladesh earlier, remained firmly in control of the proceedings in the first innings as Tanzid Hasan scored his first ODI century. The bowlers from Pakistan struggled to take wickets for the major part of the first innings as Bangladesh piled on the runs. The hosts finished with 290, 30 more than what Mehidy Hasan felt would be a good score on this pitch. However, despite a three-wicket haul from Haris Rauf, the visitors would know that their bowling and fielding efforts were poor throughout the innings. Bangladesh could have been restricted to a slightly lesser total had Pakistan held on to their catches.

Pakistan are slowly rebuilding the innings after early blows but they are still not out of trouble. Bangladesh just need one more wicket to take total control of the situation
Another mix up and a YES-NO CALL…Pakistan haven’t had a good time in the field today. The running between the wickets has been absolutely dismal.
It has been an exceptional performance from the Bangladesh bowlers so far. They have picked up wickets at regular intervals. Ghori and Samad are trying to rebuild the innings but they need to stitch a big stand here

Another one bites the dust. Another short delivery and this time from Nahid Rana and Maaz tries to pull it but the ball hurries on to his and he just gets a slight edge. That has been taken easily by the wicket-keeper. Pakistan are two down now for 12
WICKET! Bangladesh have struck early. Saibzada Farhan departs for 6. Taskin Ahmed gets the first wicket and that’s a big one. He could have provided a quick start.
The series is evenly poised at 1-1 and Pakistan need 291 to win now. It has been an eventful series with Pakistan losing the first match and the controversy after that Salman Ali Agha run out.
Bangladesh have finished with 290 runs in their 50 overs. Will it be enough? Only time will. But the Bangla Tigers would feel like they could have scored more after the kind of start provided by Tanzid Hasan opening the innings. Lower down the order, Towhid Hridoy finished positively, scoring 48 runs in 44 balls.
Haris Rauf closed out his spell with a quiet five-run over. After an expensive first spell with the new ball in the power play, Rauf came back strongly to pick up three wickets.
Towhid Hridoy struck a couple of fours and ran a crucial double in the 48th over as Pakistan’s skipper, Shaheen Afridi, bowled out his 10 overs. Afridi finished with figures of 1/55 in his 10 overs. Bangladesh would need Hridoy to have most of the strike in these final two overs as they aim to get past 300.
Haris Rauf is on fire as the Pakistani pacer picked up two wickets in two balls. After dismissing Litton Das, the speedster rattled the stumps to send Rishad Hossain back to the dugout. On a hat-trick, Rauf bowled a wide to keep the tensions rising. He could not take the third wicket in a row as Afif Hossain got off the strike with a leg-bye.
Finally, some respite for Pakistan as Litton Das, after receiving multiple chances, has been dismissed. The wicketkeeper batter scored 41 runs before Rauf got the better of him in the 47th over.
There have been multiple breaks during the innings, right from unofficial drinks breaks to medical attention to players. Once again, the Bangladeshi medical team came to the ground as Litton Das received some attention to his right leg. His leg was stretched by the doctors. Visuals from the stadium show that the next batters for Bangladesh are padded up and have their helmet on. However, Das is fine to continue for now.
Pakistan’s bowlers have been inconsistent throughout the innings. On multiple occasions, they have started an over not letting many runs to be scored. However, on the last balls of these overs, they have given away boundaries for the hosts to remain in control.
Haris Rauf returned for his third spell to bowl out three of the final six overs. It has been quite a contrasting story for Rauf so far in the innings. He was highly expensive in his opening spell and was taken to the cleaners in the power play. Returning for a second spell, Rauf troubled all the batters and earned himself a wicket as well. The right-arm pacer could have had two wickets had Saad Masood not spilled the catch to dismiss.
To make his debut even worse, Saad Masood sprayed one down the leg side for five wides. Bangladesh have got some bonus runs in the final overs as they aim to score big.
Saad Masood’s debut has not gone as the spinner or even the Pakistan management would have liked. In his seven overs, Masood has given away 46 runs and also dropped a catch to dismiss Litton Das.
Pakistan are climbing their way back into this game after dismissing Tanzid Hasan. Towhid Hridoy and Litton Das would aim for at least 300 after the foundation laid by the top-order batters.
Tanzid Hasan has got out to one of the worst deliveries bowled in this match. Having scored a century, the left-handed batter was looking to get another boundary. It was a wide delivery from Abrar, which he slashed and found the fielder at cover. Shaheen Afridi did not make any mistake while taking a simple catch as Pakistan picked up their third wicket.
Is this the shot that spurs Litton Das into runs? Having scored only nine runs in 21 balls, the knock from the wicketkeeper was going nowhere. But Saad Masood bowled it short for the ball to sit up nicely and be deposited into the stands by the Bangladeshi batter.
Litton Das, in spite of being dropped once in his innings, is finding it hard to get going. The wicketkeeper batter is striking at less than 50 and is putting a lot of pressure on Tanzid Hasan.
Abrar Ahmed was brought back into the attack as Pakistan look to choose one of the two balls for the last 15 overs. With the ball being slightly older the visitors would hope that their spinners get some assistance and there is reverse swing on offer for the Pakistani pacers.
A maiden ODI century for Tanzid Hasan. The opening batter got to the triple-digit figure with a six on the final ball of the 33rd over. The left-handed batter danced down the pitch to hit a six over long-off.
Pakistan’s fielding woes continued as Saad Masood dropped Litton Das, denying a second wicket to Haris Rauf. Masood mistimed his jump as the ball popped out of his hands.
Haris Rauf has finally redeemed himself after an expensive start to his spell. The right-arm pacer trapped Najmul Hossain Shanto right in front of the stumps on the second ball of his sixth over. The wicket from Rauf broke a 53-run stand between Shanto and Tanzid. The opening batter is still looking untroubled as he is closing in on a maiden century.
Tanzid Hasan, battling with an injury, is looking all set to get to his century. The opening batter is 14 runs away from the triple-digit score as Bangladesh continue to pile on the runs.
Tanzid Hasan seems to have picked up a niggle around his calf muscle. The opening batter received medical attention before he carried on to bat in between the 26th and 27th overs.
Bangladesh have slowed down in the last few overs. Looking at the situation, Pakistan brought Haris Rauf into the attack to prize a wicket. The right-arm pacer had conceded 23 runs in his opening spell with the new ball.
Shaheen Afridi bowled a three-over spell and broke the opening stand. However, the visitors are in dire need of a couple of wickets to make any inroads into this Bangladeshi batting order.
Bangladesh has not let go of their acceleration as both Najmul Hossain Shanto and Tanzid Hasan are managing an odd boundary in each over. The run rate is slightly below six runs per over.
Pakistan’s T20I skipper, Salman Agha, has been brought into the attack. The right-arm off-spinner started strongly, not bowling any loose deliveries to Najmul Hossain Shanto. After bowling five dot deliveries to begin his over, Agha was struck for a boundary releasing all the pressure he created. He replaced Shaheen Afridi in the attack.
It is that man once again as Shaheen Afridi returns for his second spell to break the opening stand. The left-arm pacer dismissed Saif Hassan but the danger still looms for the visitors with Tanzid Hasan going at a fairly quick rate.
The star performer for Pakistan from the previous game, Maaz Sadaqat, was brought into the attack in the 17th over. The left-arm spinner was struck for a six by Tanzid Hasan as the two openers get closer to a century opening stand.
Tanzid Hasan reaches his fifty off 47 deliveries as Bangladesh take a firm control of the series-decider. Pakistan would need to break this partnership soon to stay in the game.
Pakistan are finding it tough to trouble either of these two batters from Bangladesh. They have bowled 15 overs without any success as Tanzid Hasan is one run away from his well-earned half-century.
Tanzid Hasan is racing towards his half-century. The left-handed batter struck Abrar for a six and a four right after the power play ended as Bangladesh continue to pile on the runs.
A strong power play for the hosts as they escape the first 10 overs without losing any wickets. Haris Rauf was expensive in his opening spell, while Shaheen Afridi could not repeat his heroics from the previous game. Faheem Ashraf and Abrar Ahmed calmed things down for the visitors by giving away only 12 runs in their four overs.
Mohammad Rizwan has convinced Shaheen Afridi for a review, challenging a leg before wicket decision off Ashraf’s bowling. The visitors have lost their first review as the impact was outside off. Pakistan continue their search for the opening wicket.
Double change for Pakistan as Faheem Ashraf is introduced into the attack. The medium apcer replaced Haris Rauf after his expensive opening spell.
Spin for Pakistan as Abrar Ahmed replaces Shaheen Afridi in the seventh over. The plan to go with extreme pace has not worked for the visitors. They now look to their mystery spinner for the first breakthrough.
Tanzid Hasan has lined up Haris Rauf here and is looking to go big against the fast bowler. He has already struck a couple of sixes and fours against the Pakistani speedster. Rauf’s lack of control with the new ball is a big worrying sign for the visitors in this crucial game.
Having won the toss, Pakistan have not managed to take any advantage with the new ball as both Saif Hassan and Tanid Hasan Tamim are finding it easy against Shaheen and Haris Rauf.
The Bangladeshi batters are off to a rollercoaster start. Saif Hassan too struck a boundary in the third over before Tanzid continued his onslaught against Haris Rauf in the fourth over.
