Key Constituencies and Polling Districts for Bihar Phase 2 Elections

Phase 2 of the Bihar Assembly elections will witness polling across 122 seats, including prominent constituencies such as Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Supaul, Araria, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Sasaram, Aurangabad, and Gaya Town. Reserved constituencies like Bathnaha (SC), Manihari (ST), and Dhoraiya (SC) will also go to the polls. Districts such as West Champaran, Madhubani, Purnia, and Nawada will see heavy voter engagement. Election officials have conducted thorough preparations to ensure fair polling and have increased surveillance to prevent any disturbances during voting day.

As per the Election Commission, 67.14% voter turnout was recorded in the second phase of polling till 5 PM. 

Kishanganj topped the voter turnout list with 76.26 per cent, closely followed by Kaithar at 75.23 per cent, Purnia at 73.79 per cent, Supaul at 70.69 per cent, and Purvi Champaran at 69.31 per cent.

On the other hand, Nawada recorded the lowest turnout at 57.11 per cent, followed by Rohtas (60.69 per cent), Madhubani (61.79 per cent), and Arwal (63.06 per cent).

Bihar Assembly Elections Phase 2 LIVE Updates: Bihar Records Highest Voter Turnout 67.14% Till 5 PM

Bihar recorded a big voter turnout of 67.14 per cent in the second phase of Assembly polls till 5 pm. 

The highest voter turnout was recorded in Kishanganj district at 76.26 per cent, followed by 75.23 per cent in Katihar, 73.79 per cent in Purnia, 70.69 per cent in Supaul, 69.02 per cent in Purvi Champaran 68.91 per cent in Banka.
Nawada recorded 57.11 per cent turnout till 5 pm, according to the Voter Turnout application of the ECI.
A turnout of 67.79 per cent was recorded in Araria, 63.06 per cent in Arwal, 64.48 per cent in Aurangabad, 66.03 per cent in Bhagalpur, 64.36 per cent in Jahanabad, 67.22 per cent in Kaimur (Bhabua), 69.02 per cent in Paschim Champaran and 67.50 per cent in Gaya.
Jamui recorded a voter turnout of 67.81 per cent, 60.09 per cent in Rohtas, 67.31 per cent in Sheohar, 65.28 per cent in Sitamarhi and 61.79 per cent in Madhubani.
