JNU Election Results 2025 Live: Counting for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) elections is underway on Thursday, November 6, 2025. A total of 9,043 students were eligible to vote, with a turnout of 67 percent. The latest trends are showing a close battle between the Left Unity and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) across the four central panel posts.
The vote count is expected to be completed soon, with close attention on key student groups, including ABVP and other major contenders, amid a highly competitive contest. Counting continues for all candidates, including votes for IND, BLANK, and NOTA.
The Left alliance is steadily gaining an advantage in the ongoing elections, moving closer to securing a significant victory.

BAPSA Komal Devi wins SSS Councilor seat after 11 years.
Aditi Mishra of the Left alliance has established a strong lead with 1,747 votes, ahead of ABVP’s Vikas Patel, who garnered 1,385 votes, and PSA’s Shinde Vijayalakshmi, who received 1,144 votes for the Presidential posts. Meanwhile, 127 votes went to NOTA, 34 were left blank, and 57 were declared invalid. Aditi currently holds a lead of 362 votes.
Left Alliance candidate K. Gopika leads with 2,774 votes, holding a strong advantage over ABVP’s Tanya Kumari, who has secured 1,657 votes for Vice President posts. The NOTA tally is at 366, while 98 votes are blank and 39 have been deemed invalid. Gopika now leads by 1,117 votes, indicating a clear edge in the contest.
Left alliance’s Danish Ali extends the lead with 1,854 votes in the joint secretary toll, staying ahead of ABVP’s Anuj Damara, who has secured 1,693 votes — a difference of 161 votes. In this round, NOTA accounted for 221 votes, while 71 were blank and 38 deemed invalid.
Gopi Krishnan U (AISF) has secured 196 votes in the general secretary poll. Rajeshwar Kant Dubey (ABVP) leads at 1,3,67, Shuaib Khan (BAPSA) 592, and Preeti (NSUI) 361. NOTA 231, BLANK 62, and invalid 35 votes.
Ravi Raj 9CRJD) has secured 684 votes in the joint secretary contest. Anuj Damara (ABVP) leads with 1,494, Danish Ali (Left) 1,447, Manmohan Mitruka (PDSU) 260, and Kuldeep Ojha (NSUI) 167.
