Mohun Bagan vs Odisha FC Live: 6 Goals In 4 Matches In The League!
What a performance from Macca! He took a total of 7 shots in the match and scored 4 goals!!
Mohun Bagan vs Odisha FC ISL, AS IT HAPPENED: Mohun Bagan Super Giant continued their dominant run with a convincing win over Odisha FC at Salt Lake Stadium on Friday, 6 March 2026. Jamie Maclaren starred for the hosts, scoring four goals, including a first-half hat-trick, to put the Mariners firmly in control. Rahim Ali scored Odisha’s lone goal, but their efforts were repeatedly denied by goalkeeper Vishal Kaith. Mohun Bagan’s victory came after another five-goal performance in their previous match, underlining their strong attacking form. With this performance, MBSG stay firm at the top of the table with 12 points.
Currently perched at the top of the table, the Mariners are coming off a dominant 5-1 demolition of Mohammedan Sporting, a performance that highlighted their terrifying offensive depth. Central to this clash is the narrative surrounding Bagan’s head coach Sergio Lobera, who faces his former side for the first time since departing Odisha in late 2025. While Mohun Bagan has been a juggernaut early this season, they must contend with a partial stadium closure at the Salt Lake Stadium due to recent spectator misconduct, though the club management has interestingly opted to make entry free for the remaining available sections to ensure a vocal atmosphere.
Odisha FC, by contrast, has endured a sluggish start to the season under head coach TG Purushothaman, languishing in the bottom half of the table after managing only two draws in their opening fixtures. The Juggernauts are currently operating with a significantly thinned foreign contingent compared to their opponents, relying heavily on the leadership of captain Carlos Delgado in a squad that is still finding its rhythm. Their recent 1-1 draw against Chennaiyin FC showed glimpses of resilience, but they face a monumental task in containing a Bagan attack led by Jamie Maclaren, who has found the back of the net in every match so far this season. The fitness of Bagan’s Brazilian star Robson “Robinho” remains a point of concern after he was forced off with an injury in the previous game, though his early-season form suggests that even a cameo could be decisive.
Mohun Bagan hold a significant 7–2 lead in 15 all-time meetings against Odisha FC, with 6 draws. In the ISL specifically, the Mariners have won 5 of 10 encounters, while the Juggernauts have claimed only 2. Dimitri Petratos remains the fixture’s top scorer with 6 goals.
At the Salt Lake Stadium, Mohun Bagan have been nearly invincible in league play, winning 16 of their last 17 matches at the venue. While Odisha famously dismantled Bagan 5–2 here in the 2023-24 AFC Cup, they have never secured an ISL victory at the ground, suffering key defeats in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 playoffs.
Kick-off: 5:00 PM IST, Friday, March 6, 2026
Venue: Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium), Kolkata
What a performance from Macca! He took a total of 7 shots in the match and scored 4 goals!!
That’s it! It’s full-time here in Kolkata! Mohun Bagan smash 5 goals in consecutive matches! It was Mohammedan and now Odisha FC! Robson Robinho was the MOTM in the last match and now Jamie Maclaren turning the heat with a brilliant 4-goal haul! It was a quite second-half but still it didn’t stop MBSG from scoring. OFC had their chances to score but they are stopped and trapped by Vishal Kaith on goal.
4 minutes have been added on for stoppages!
GOAAL! Soon after Rahim’s miss, Bagan hit Odisha with the counter and Maclaren pounced on yet another opportunity to bring up his 4th goal of the match and the team’s 5th in the 87th minute. Back-to-back 5-star performances from the Mariners!
A glorious chance squandered! Rahim Ali was played through and only had Vishal Kaith to beat! He tried to round him off and Kaith stuck out his leg at the right time to deny a certain goal!
We are into the last 6 minutes of the game. There is not a single doubt that the Mariners are winning today, but the thing is- will they score a fifth today? That would be the challenge as Odisha did a fine job in negating the attack despite a few lapses.
Odisha bringing in fresh legs. They have replaced Rahul KP with Maphela. Just 15 minutes of regulation time left in the game as Mohun Bagan look to score more goals.
66 minutes into the game and Odisha FC’s defense is once again exposed. Maclaren could’ve had a fourth, but the ball was blocked at the right time. Manvir had a crack from distance but Amrinder grabbed it expertly, making a routine save.
Here’s the video of Jamie Maclaren’s hat-trick!
Couple of changes made by Mohun Bagan! Mehtab Singh and Jason Cummings have been taken off and Tom Aldred and Manvir Singh have been brought in by the hosts. Odisha did have a chance from inside the box, but the right-footed curler lacked direction and eventually fizzled out for a goal-kick.
There not have been many attacks in the second-half so far. Even though MBSG came close to scoring but still the ebb and flow of the game is quite slow and steady now.
With the hat-trick, Jamie Maclaren is now the top-scorer of the league with 6 goals. He has gone past arch-rivals East Bengal FC’s Youssef Ezzejjari, who was on 4 goals.
Subhashish with a cross from the left flank and it almost fell to the unmarked Liston Colaco! Once again the defense is letting the visitors down. Time and again they are giving acres of space and are now able to cope up with the pace of the MBSG attackers.
We are back for the second-half! Odisha FC get the ball rolling and now they will have to score if they want to settle for a draw! Looks impossible!
Listen to the roar at the VYBK!
Macca Mania takes over Kolkata and Odisha!
What a brilliant 45 minutes we experienced at the Salt Lake! It was a one-sided affair but there was no stopping Mohun Bagan and Jamie Maclaren! The Australian got his first-ever hat-trick in Green and Maroon colours to power the hosts to a commanding lead. Rahim Ali did get one back for Odisha but they have a mountain to climb in the second-half.
3 minutes have been added for first-half stoppages and Jamie Maclaren completes his hattrick! What a dangerous human being he is inside the box! The Odisha defenders have no reply to curb this ferocious attack! It’s 4-1 now and surely it’s game set and match in the first 45 minutes itself!
Oh hello! Odisha have pulled one back! It looked like the Mohun Bagan defense went off line for a while and Rahim Ali pounced to reduce the deficit! Ali is Mohun Bagan’s ex man.
GOAAL! As we speak, Bagan have tripled their lead through Alberto Rodriguez. A long-range shot that was low but took a deflection from the defender along the way, bounced in front of Amrinder and the keeper, who dived to his left, got finger tips to it, but couldn’t keep the shot out.
Dimi Petratos have been fouled a number of times now. Odisha know the importance of Bagan’s star and so they are playing on the offensive. But if they want to come back into the game, they will have to push for a goal first.
Very good ball into the box and Jamie Maclaren’s volley was blocked but Bagan pressed on and saw another shot, this time from Jason Cummings blocked. MBSG players are screaming for a penalty after a foul on Dimi Petratos as he was pushed inside the box. The referee says play on! Interesting move…
30 minutes into the game and we have the first drinks break. Mohun Bagan are toying with their opposition now. Odisha are chasing shadows and if they want to make a comeback, they need to come hard and show ambition, otherwise, the Mariners are gonna steam roll to victory!
That’s what we were talking about! If you defend poorly and give acres of space to Mohun Bagan, even if there was a keeper instead of a striker, they would bury these chances all day.
GGOAAL!! Jamie Maclaren once again on target!! Liston Colaco from inside the box, lays it off to Maclaren, who was surprisingly left unmarked and the Australian taps it in for the second goal! Poor defending from Odisha!
That’s how good the Mariners are! Just take the entire momentum in their favour. Whenever they have the ball on their feet, you know something special will happen, especially when it’s Dimi Petratos.
It was one hell of a header!
GOOAAL! We have the first strike of the game and it’s Jamie Maclaren who heads in the opening goal! Petratos played a back-heel to Subhashish, who in turn delivered a good cross from the edge of the box and the poacher of the Mohun Bagan team did the rest! 1-0 to the hosts!
We have the first shot on target of the game and it expectedly came from Mohun Bagan. It was a long-range effort from distance and Amrinder almost spilled it but there were no MB attackers present in the box.
8 minutes into the game and we are yet to see a shot on target from both the sides. Both teams building up play patiently.
Mohun Bagan as expected press men forward to generate an opening! Whenever they get the ball, they look simply dangerous. Odisha need to have a solid plan to negate them.
Match underway in Kolkata! Odisha FC getting the ball rolling and conceding a foul early on, indicating that they will come hard at the hosts!

Mohun Bagan have announced their playing XI! They have brought back Dimi Petratos in the line-up, following Robson Robinho’s injury. He will take the central attacking role.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant have historically dominated Odisha FC, winning 7 of their 15 meetings, while Odisha have managed only 2 victories, with 6 matches ending in draws. In the Indian Super League, Bagan have won 5 of 10 clashes, and Dimitri Petratos stands as the fixture’s leading scorer with six goals.
In contrast, Odisha FC have struggled to build momentum early in the season under head coach TG Purushothaman, sitting in the lower half of the table with only two draws so far. With a limited foreign lineup, the team has relied heavily on captain Carlos Delgado while still trying to find consistency. A recent 1–1 draw against Chennaiyin FC showed some fight, but stopping Mohun Bagan Super Giant—especially the in-form Jamie Maclaren, who has scored in every game this season—will be a major challenge.
