Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were suspended till 2 PM on Monday for the second time, following a commotion by opposition leaders over a number of concerns.

After opposition parties urged that the suspension of four Congress MPs be lifted, the Lower House was postponed. The opposition kept yelling in the Rajya Sabha, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the leader of the Congress, requested a debate on the cost of living. Bhubaneswar Kalita, the chairperson, said that the topic will be discussed tomorrow. A Bill to modify the Central Universities Act, 2009 is anticipated to be introduced in the Lok Sabha by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Weapons of Mass Destruction and Their Delivery Systems (Prohibition of Unlawful Activities) Amendment Bill, 2022, is anticipated to be introduced by Union Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar and passed by the Rajya Sabha.
