After opposition parties urged that the suspension of four Congress MPs be lifted, the Lower House was postponed. The opposition kept yelling in the Rajya Sabha, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the leader of the Congress, requested a debate on the cost of living. Bhubaneswar Kalita, the chairperson, said that the topic will be discussed tomorrow. A Bill to modify the Central Universities Act, 2009 is anticipated to be introduced in the Lok Sabha by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
