Three defendants in the MLA poaching case were directed to appear before police on Saturday by the Telangana High Court in order to continue the probe.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs poaching case was being heard by High Court as Cyberabad Police asked for the three suspects to be detained and held without bail. High Court issued its ruling after the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court denied the three defendants in case’s request for remand. The ACB court ruling was being contested in court by the Cyberabad Police.

TRS MLAs alerted the Cyberabad Police about the poaching attempt, which the leaders said was carried out by the BJP. Officers on Wednesday evening apprehended the three suspects, Ramachandra Bharati alias Satish Sharma, Nanda Kumar, and Simhayaji Swamy at the farmhouse near Ranga Reddy.

Following instructions from the ACB court, the police freed all three suspects in the TRS MLA poaching case on Thursday.

Notably, TRS claimed that the BJP was trying to seize the MLAs by enticing them with cash and contracts.
