According to the head of the Luv Kush Ramlila Committee, President Droupadi Murmu was unable to attend Dussehra celebrations at the Red Fort grounds owing to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, and Telugu star Prabhas attended the Dusherra festivities. “President Droupadi Murmu is unable to attend the event, according to a letter that was delivered to us yesterday. Actor Prabhas and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal would be present at today’s Dusherra festivities “, according to Luv Kush Ramlila Committee President Arjun Kumar.

On the grounds of Delhi’s Red Fort, effigies of Raavan, Kumbh Karan, and Meghnaad have been erected.

President Murmu, however, sent her greetings for Dussehra to citizens.

“On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, we extend our sincere greetings to all of our countrymen. The Dussehra celebration represents the triumph of right over wrong, truth over lies, and good over evil. I hope that everyone in my nation may experience happiness, peace, and prosperity as a result of this event “She tweeted.

The renowned Luv Kush Ramlila committee in Delhi is poised to once again celebrate Dussehra with all the traditional pomp and splendour this year after two years of low-key celebrations owing to Covid-19.

Kumar revealed specifics, stating that nine effigies had been erected for the grand finale in contrast to prior seasons.
