MUMBAI: After the protest at the BCCI headquarters leading to the withdrawal of Pakistan Umpire Aleem Dar from India-South Africa ODI series and threats to Ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali and former Pakistan foreign minister Kasuri, Shiv Sena now targets the Pakistan actors, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. “Won’t allow Pak actors on Maha soil,” said Chitrapet Sena general secretary Akshay Bardapurkar.
“Won’t allow Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan Ali to promote film,” he further added.
The Shiv Sena has made it very clear that they won’t let Pakistan actors to promote their films in Maharashtra.
Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut with the movie “Khoobsurat” in 2014 and will be next seen in “Kapoor & Sons” and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” produced under the Dharma Productions flag. (Also Read: Shiv Sena threatens Ghulam Ali’s concerts; Concert cancelled)
“Raees” will mark the Bollywood debut of Mahira Khan, where she will be seen starring opposite superstar Shahrukh Khan.
