Indonesia: India’s first Secretary to Jakarta, Sanjiv Kumar Agrawal met Chhota Rajan today in Bali. Chhota Rajan has also been given Consular access owing to the threat to his life in Bali.
Documents for Rajan’s deportation have been sent to Indonesia already.
A six-member Indian Law Enforcement agency, principally comprising Mumbai Police and one official of the CBI, acting as a nodal officer from Interpol Delhi, also arrived in Bali which has been provided tight security owing to the threat to the CBI team.
Interpol had cautioned the team that there are chances that the syndicates may try to take Chhota Rajan out before he lands in India.
Law enforcement action has to begin from tomorrow onwards in the case.
Chhota Rajan, an aide to Dawood Ibrahim in the past, is considered a big catch for India and might facilitate the way for tracing India’s most wanted criminal, Dawood Ibrahim.
