The officer said that the hospital authorities informed police about the incident when the boy was admitted.
Police have registered a case of negligence against the school authorities and asked the principal to join the probe.
The school authorities reportedly did not inform the student’s family members about the incident for over two hours.
Speaking about the school’s response on the death of the son, the child’s father said, “I kept asking school staff what happened to my son. How did he die? But no one answered .”
The principal of the private school told the father ‘to keep quiet’ and added that he would be benefited from being silent on the issue.
“I think this is a conspiracy by the school,” said the distraught father.
