All the Maggi fans, get ready to activate your taste buds as your all-time favourite Maggi chicken noodles is back, with its first lot coming online on from Thursday, February 11. The pre- registration will begin on February 10, 11 am onwards.
This online strategy of launching product was adopted by Maggi initially when it re-launched the 2-minute Maggi noodles after a ban of six months put by FSSAI.
FSSAI ordered the company to withdraw the nine variants, calling them hazardous for human consumption. The excess lead content and monosodium glutamate (MSG) were the reasons cited by FSSAI.
Nestle re-launched Maggi on Snapdeal on November 9, after a gap of six months. As expected, the entire stock was sold out in two hours of its launch. In fact, 45 million packs of Maggi were sold within two weeks of its relaunch.
The same is expected of the Maggi chicken noodles, the online launch of which is expected to bombard the site of Snapdeal by flooding it with the buyers of their favourite Maggi noodles.
