Even before the verdict of the first sexual harassment case is out, Pachauri has landed in another soup, where another ex-employee of TERI has accused him of sexual assault and has filed a complaint against the same.
The complainant has also told that it was not just her but that other women at TERI were also a victim to this treatment. Recounting one of the incidents, the complainant said that on one occasion Pachauri forcibly held her and kissed her on the face.
In the letter released by the second complainant, she has mentioned things such as the nickname given to her by Pachauri and sexually implicit comments made by him to her.
The girl, who worked in TERI for a year from 2003, also said that she tried contacting Delhi police with the help of her lawyer Vrinda Grover but they never reverted.
The complaint has come a day after the complainant, in the first case, hit out at TERI governing council’s decision to promote Pachauri to the post of executive vice chairman.
