PARIS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Paris on Thursday night on the first leg of his three-nation tour.

During his visit, he will hold talks with the French President Francois Hollande and meet top Business leaders.

PM Modi was received by French Minister Sergolene Royal and other senior French officials at the Orly International Airport.

Many members of the Indian community were also present at the airport to greet Prime Minister Modi.

PM Modi will begin his diplomatic engagements from Friday. The Prime Minister will fly to Germany on April 12 and will later travel to Canada.

In France, Modi will also visit the World War I memorial and pay tributes to about 10,000 Indians who lost their lives fighting alongside France.
