New Delhi: Adding fuel to the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Kanhaiya Kumar controversy, Rajasthan Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kailash Choudhary on Thursday called Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi a traitor and demanded that he should either be shot or hanged for supporting the anti-nationals.
Choudhary made these comments while addressing farmers at Barmer district in Rajasthan.
Reacting to the comment made by the BJP legislator, Congress spokesperson Sachin Pilot said, “the abusive language used by a sitting BJP MLA is absolutely shameful. BJP should not only ask its MLA to withdraw his remarks on Rahul Gandhi but he should also be expelled from the party.”

Pilot further demanded that a police case should be registered against Choudhary and BJP as the political party must take ownership of the language used by its leader.
It is not the first time that a BJP leader has made such insensitive remarks against Rahul Gandhi. In the past too, there have been several incidents where unfortunate comments have been made on Rahul Gandhi and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi.
