Mumbai: In a shocker from a Mumbai coaching centre, near Malvani gate no. 5 in Malad, two innocent students were brutally punished. They were stripped naked and made to stand outside naked on the road. 
Students who were under the age of 10 were punished  for failing to complete their homework. The incident took place on Friday afternoon. Locals who saw the children outside the coaching centre said that the children were made to stand out for around 15-20 minutes. Children who witnessed the shocking incident are mentally scarred and terrified.
After NewsX reported the story, the Malvani police registered a case under the Section 75 and 82 of Juvenile Justice Act against the teachers of the private coaching class. Cops have arrested two accused who have been identified as Ganesh Nayar, who is owner of Shree Tutorials, and Saroj Jaiswal, who is a teacher there.
Young students who are exposed to such brutal punishments grow up with the risk of developing mental apprehensive conditions which affects their chances in academics in the long run. There are number of other cases where students have lost their lives due to the harsh punishment dealt by insensitive teachers.
