Mumbai: As per latest reports, sources claim that all the people trapped inside the building have been rescued.
A four-storey residential building in Bhiwandi, 50 kilometres from Mumbai, caught fire early on Tuesday morning. As per reports, 30 people have been rescued but over 50 people are still trapped in the building. No casualties, however, have been reported so far.
The lower end of the building houses a garment factory which is also on fire. So far, 12 fire engines have reached the site and rescue operations are underway.
People trapped inside the fire affected building rushed to the terrace and were then rescused by fire fighters with the help of turn-table ladder.
