New Delhi: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan might not be seen as brand ambassador of ‘Incredible India’. The government at the centre has delayed the appointment of Amitabh Bachchan as the brand ambassador of Incredible India in the wake of the Panama Papers leak controversy.

According to sources, Government has put Big B on hold and is looking at other celebrities for the face of Incredible India campaign.

The decision was scheduled this month but it has been postponed until Bachchan is given the clean chit in the case.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan issued a statement saying that his name was misused and then disassociated himself from the case.

Leaked documents from Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca showed Bachchan was among 500 Indian entities who owned firms and accounts in offshore tax havens.
