Patna: Month after Rastriya Janta Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s facebook account was hacked; Bihar police on Wednesday arrested an engineering student for hacking RJD Chief’s FB account.
The 20-year old engineering student Divyanshu Kumar alias Golu was held from Mehmadabad village in Vaishali district by the Economic Offences Unit of Bihar Police. The police also recovered two Samsung phones which he used to hack the leader’s Facebook account.
JS Gangwar,IG, Economic Offences Unit said,” “He hacked the Facebook page twice on March 8 and 11 and posted objectionable comments on it.” The officer even added that one of the sim card used by the accused was found to have been originally issued on the name of Vijay Kumar who resides in Saudi Arab.
Divyangshu, who is a student of Patna Sahib Engineering College, has been sent to judicial custody. 
However, all the malicious contents had been removed from the homepage by Lalu Prasad’s son and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and an FIR has been launched with the Sachivalaya police in Patna.
