Mumbai: The main accused in the double murder case of Hema Upadhyay and her advocate Harish Bhambhani, Vidhyadhar Rajbhar, has been issued a non-bailable warrant by the Dindoshi sessions court.
Rajbhar has been absconding since December 12 last year, when the two were murdered. Rajbhar has been using different phones and SIM cards.
The Kandivali police and the Mumbai Crime Branch have over the last few months traced him to Tirupati, Chennai, Coimbatore, West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. 
He was even traced to Siliguri on February 17. A senior police officer said that the warrant was issued last week, and that an entire team is on the chase to track him down.
Rajbhar was last traced to Siliguri on February 17.
