Rain, hail hits ‘newly’ named Gurugram; mercury drops

Gurugram: Sudden rain and hailstorm in Gurugram (Gurgaon) on Wednesday brought relief to the people from the hot and humid weather. The sudden downpour led to a drop in mercury that was shooting in the range of 42-48 degress.
Every year, the country witnesses record breaking rise in tempratures during the peak summer seasons making it hard for the people to cope with extreme weather condition.
Parts of NCR (adjoining Noida and Ghaziabad) received light showers late on Monday afternoon bringing welcome relief from the cloying humidity. The Met office has in a forecast predicted rains in the coming days.
