Jammu: A forest fire broke out in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday evening. The forest officials said that the efforts are on to douse the fire. This is the second incident of this year where forest fire in the Rajouri district has consumed many small and big trees. 
“Many forest fires in the last one month, but today the entire forest area has been covered with fire,” said Maqbool Hussain, a Fire officer.
In the past few month, fires have broken out in more than 1200 places and more than 1900 hectares of forest have been affected, the Environment ministry said in a statement.
