Udaipur: Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday addressed a public meeting in Udaipur. In a significant announcement, the Union Minister said that an Indian reserve battalion will be setup and it will be named Maharana Pratap reserve battalion.
“A Indian reserve battalion will be setup, which will named Maharana Pratap reserve battalion,” Rajnath said.
The move comes in the wake of Cabinet approving a proposal for raising 17 Reserve Battalions for the state of Jammu and Kashmir and other Left-Wing Extremism affected areas.
The Home Minster is on a two day visit and will attend several functions. He will also visit the Pratab Museum to reveal the statue of Maharana Pratap and inaugurate Krishi Mandi.
