Mumbai: After National Commission for Women, it is Maharashtra State Commission for Women, which has now issued notice to actor Salman Khan after his ‘rape analogy’ wherein he compared his tiredness due to his gruelling shooting schedule with the state of a raped woman.
Salman has to appear before the Commission on June 29 at 2 pm. However, Lalitha Kumaramangalam, chairperson of the National Commission for Women, said that what Salman said is not something which would be considered illegal.
Salman got into trouble when during an interaction with an entertainment website, on being asked about his experience of playing a wrestler on the big screen in his upcoming movie ‘Sultan,’ he replied that he felt like a raped woman.
“I’d have to lift the same 120-kilo guy 10 times for 10 different angles. And likewise, get thrown that many times on the ground. This act is not repeated that many times in the real fights in the ring. When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman,”he said.
