New Delhi: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Chief Hafiz Saeed on Wednesday claimed responsibility for the Pampore attack in Jammu & Kashmir where eight Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans lost their lives.

While addressing a rally in Pakistan, the LeT Chief said that they had masterminded the Pampore attack where 8 jawans lost their lives and 22 others were badly injured.  The two terrorists who initiated the fidayeen attack were later killed in the exchange of gunfire.

Saeed in his speech said that Kashmiri freedom movement is gaining momentum day by day and that the war against India to take control of the Pakistani rivers will continue.

Hafiz Saeed has a bounty of $10 million on his head. He is one of the chief masterminds behind the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks where 166 civilians were killed.
