New Delhi: Islamic preacher Zakir Naik who has been a primary subject of a massive inquest after the Dhaka terror attack has skipped his flight which was bound for India on Monday morning, according to sources.

Dr Zakir Naik, as he is called by most of his followers, was expected to come to India amidst intense interrogation by the National Investigative Agency (NIA) pertaining to whether his preaching incited terror attacks.

Naik, who was supposed to take the flight EK 504, did not board the flight, supposedly due to the current scenario in India. His family however, took the flight no S V 748 bound for India.
