New Delhi: In a shocking video, Uttar Pradesh’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) vice-president Dayashankar Singh on Wednesday used derogatory language against Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati and compared her to a prostitute.

Hitting out at former UP Chief Minister, Mayawati, BJP’s Dayashankar said, “Mayawati was breaking the dream of Kashiram into pieces into pieces. A big leader like Mayawati, who had been three times chief minister of UP, sells election tickets in 1 crore rupees, if there is someone who can give 2 score than she sells it in 2 crore and if someone is ready to give 3 crore than she sell it in 3 crore.”

Later, reacting on Dayashankar’s comment on her, BSP supremo Mayawatit said, “These kind of derogatory statements show that BJP is frustrated with the growing public support for BSP.”



Earlier during the day, Mayawati hit out Centre over atrocities on Dalits community in Una district in Gujarat state. She criticised both BJP and Congress for playing just theatrics. 

Also, there was ruckus in both the houses of the Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha over Una incident. The Rajya Sabha was adjounred till 2 pm while Congress walked from the Lok Sabha.
