New Delhi: In a recent development, Delhi police has decided to prohibit the use of micro light aircrafts, remotely piloted aircrafts, hot air balloons, small-size powered aircrafts and quad-copters from August 12.

As per sources, the decision was taken by Delhi Police keeping in mind various security concerns in the national capital.

Delhi Police has also banned all sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliding, para-motors, hang gliding, unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned aircraft systems.

The ban will been imposed from August 12 and will continue till October 10.
