NEW DELHI: Without giving any reason for the delay, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) yet another time postponed the date of declaring the results for Class 10 this year.

Rama Sharma, spokesperson for CBSE was quoted in a media report saying, “Class X results will not be declared on May 27. Students waiting for the results will have to wait for one-two days more.”

The result that was earlier scheduled to be declared on May 21 was shifted to May 27 (Wednesday), however, the decision was changed at the last moment. Even though the CBSE has not confirmed any date for the results announcement as of now, it is expected that the students would be able to see their results on May 28 (Thursday) or May 29 (Friday).

The matric exams were held from March 2 till March 26 where 13, 73, 583 appeared for it, out of which, 5, 55,912 students were girls.

The results for CBSE Class 12 were declared on May 25.
