New Delhi: In yet another heinous crime incident in Bengal, two Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers were shot dead by unknown assailants in Murshidabad on Thursday.

The attack was seemingly related to political issues. There was no report on nabbing the involving culprit so far.

Just two weeks ago, another TMC activist was killed in a bomb attack at Goraimari village in Domkal constituency triggering a tension in the area that is infamous for political violence. Local residents claimed that the clash had broken over political dominion.
