New Delhi: Music composer Vishal Dadlani on Wednesday met the Jain monk Tarun Sagar at his ashram in Chandigarh to seek forgiveness from him. He apologized for his tweet on the leader’s address at the Haryana Assembly.

“Guruji accepted my apology, he has forgiven me and I think we’ve also developed a bond of friendship,” Vishal said.

The Jain monk asked Vishal to hold his ears and ask for forgiveness. The 43-year-old Vishal followed the order of Guru ji and said, “Main kaan pakadke maafi maangta hoon”.

The meeting between Dadlani and Tarun Sagar lasted for almost 20 minutes.

The Jain monk said that he has forgiven Vishal Dadlani and the Jain Samaj should also forgive him.

Regretting his remark, Vishal said, “I regret whatever I had said earlier.”

“Unknowingly, I had commented about guru ji. But after hearing his ‘kadve parvachan’ (harsh words), I found them sweet,” he added.

The music composer was earleir booked by Haryana police for his tweets against the Jain monk. He then wrote an open letter to the spiritual leader seeking forgiveness.
