New Delhi: A magnitude 4.0 earthquake was recorded in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand-Nepal border on Monday morning.

No damage of property or casualty was reported in the tremor.

The tremor occurred just two days after a quake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale jolted Bhaderwah town of Jammu. The epicentre was in Uttarakhand.
