New Delhi: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) joint secretary GK Dwivedi, who was suspended for clearing controversial Zakir Naik’s NGO, has now been reinstated.
According to reports, an inquiry had been ordered by the MHA led by secretary Border Management Sushil Kumar who looks into the lapses and fixes the individual responsibility of the officers concerned for the renewal of the FCRA licensed firm while it was still being probed by the MHA.
The inquiry has said that Dwivedi, who had joint secretary in charge of that division, was not responsible and the responsibility has to be fixed at the lower run or sub-ordinate officers who were responsible for granting those sanctions.
