New Delhi: Vice-Chancellor of Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU), M Jagdeesh Kumar on Thursday said all efforts are on to find student Najeeb Ahmed, who has been missing since October 14th. 
“We hope that Najeeb Ahmad comes back soon wherever he is, number of steps have been taken to search him,” he said. 
Kumar also appealed studets to maintain calm as the University was taking all possible steps to locate the student.
“Students have become relentless & adamant and think that we are not doing our best,” he said.
Najeeb Ahmed had gone missing on the night of October 14 from the university hostel Mahi-Mandvi after a brawl with a few ABVP students. Since then a police complaint has been filed under IPC Section 365 and a Proctorial inquiry has been initiated by the University.
