New Delhi: Border Security Forces (BSF) on Monday killed one terrorist in Kawari Warnow area of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir. Security personnel are currently engaged in sweeping the area for other signs of terrorists.
This comes after the news of the death of BSF trooper Sushil Kumar who succumbed to fatal injuries due to ceasefire violations from Pakistan’s side. The cross-border firing took place in Jammu’s RS Pura last night in which BSF personnel Sushil Kumar suffered fatal injuries. Another BSF jawan and one civilian also received injuries due to the heavy firing.
Since the surgical strikes which were carried out by the Indian Army in retaliation to the Uri attack, tensions have remained high between India and Pakistan.
Pakistan has been repeatedly censured for not taking strict measures against the terrorist organisations thriving under the ambit of the government.
