New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Thursday announced that train services on Diwali will start at its usual time of 6PM but end at 10PM about an hour early than the usual time.
“The train services will start as usual at 6AM on Diwali (Sunday) but our last trains for the day will leave from their designated stations at 10PM,” Anuj Dayal, DMRC spokesperson said.
He said similar timings were followed last year as well to facilitate the commuters. However, in 2014, the last train was scheduled at 8 p.m.
Later, it was increased by two hours to provide continuous connectivity, he added.
