New Delhi: Rocky Yadav the accused in Aditya Sachdeva murder case has surrendered before Gaya district court in Bihar on Saturday. He went missing for last 24 hours.

Rocky, son of suspended Janata Dal-United member of legislative council Manorama Devi was accused of fatally shooting the 19-year-old student Aditya on May 7 after Aditya’s Swift car overtook his Land Rover.

Rocky was arrested on May 11.

The Supreme Court on Friday put on hold a Patna High Court’s October 19 order that granted him bail. The court directed further hearing when the courts reopen after the Diwali break.

The Bihar government had filed petition seeking cancellation of Rocky’s bail. The petitioner maintained that Rocky would be sentenced to death if the offence under Section 27 of the Arms Act is established against him.
