As smog continues to cover the northern part of the country, accidents are occurring frequently on highways in the region. Days after Diwali celebrations, the air quality in Delhi and its neighbouring states has sharply deteriorated.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the visibility in the national capital plummeted to 200 meters early on Sunday as the city recorded a minimum temperature of 13.5 degree celsius, one notch above the season’s average.
