New Delhi: Hitting out on political parties those criticising Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government’s decision to ban two big currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, party President Amit Shah on Saturday said, “I am unable to understand what problem does Mayawatiji, Congress, Mulayamji and Kejriwalji have with demonetisation of Rs 500/1000 notes.”
The BJP President in a statement said, “We’ve deep regret that the decision has caused a lot of inconvenience to the people but believe me this will be beneficial in long run.”
Prime Minister in his address to the nation on Tuesday had announced that in order to put a menace and crackdown on black money, the government will demonitise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes and they will be replaced by new Rs 500 and Rs 2,0000 notes which will be available in the ATMs from November 11. 
However, PM also said that there was no need to panic as people will be able to deposit or exchange banned notes through Banks, Post Offices between Novermber 10 and December 30.
Prime Minister on Saturday also said that he was aware of the hardship people were facing in India because of the demonetisation move, but emphasized that it was necessary in the larger interests of the nation.
