New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday once again upped his ante against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government over its demonetisation move.
The Delhi Chief Minister took to his Twitter account and said, “I am very sad that the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley plainly refused to even consider the roll-back of demonetisation. PM Modi’s government has lost it’s connect with the people and has become insensitive.”
This statement by Arvind Kejriwal has come a day after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley refused to roll-back government’s demonetisation move.
Kejriwal on Thursday, in a joint protest rally with Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi, asked the government to roll-back its poorly implemented currency ban in 3 days and threatened to intensify their protest if the government doesn’t listened to their demands.
Hitting out at Kejriwal, BJP spokesperson Swadesh Verma said, “Kejriwal has a habit of window dressing of his statements … he knows that this is not possible … Kejriwal doesn’t understand economic and wants to create chaos in the society.”
