New Delhi: In a step to lessen the inconvenience faced by people after demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, school children in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh are providing cash to the needy.
“People are facing trouble due to demonetisation, so we decided to help them by proving smaller currency notes from our piggy banks,” said a student.
The children have so far deposited Rs 73000 in form of small denomination notes and coins from their piggy banks to help people in need.
