Srinagar: A BSF jawan and a woman were injured on Saturday after Pakistan violated ceasefire in Sunderbani and Nowshera sectors of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) using 120 mm mortars, automatics and small arms. 
This is the second ceasefire violation by the Pakistan side in less than six hours.
According to reports, the first ceasefire violation took around 14.10 hours, after unproviked firing from Pakistani side started. 
“A woman identified as Shanti Devi (55) was injured and two houses were damaged in the heavy mortar shelling by the Pakistan army in the Khamba village in the Nowshera sector,” a police officer said.
A BSF jawan was also injured during the cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri.
Earlier on November 12, one Indian Army soldier was martyred and another injured after Pakistan Army violated ceasefire along the line of control (LoC) in Kupwara district in Kashmir.
According to the police, Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing at Indian positions on the LoC in Karnah sector.
“Gunman Harshit Batoriya was killed and Mankamla injured due to the firing. The injured soldier has been rushed to hospital. Two other soldiers were injured yesterday (Friday) in Pakistan ceasefire violation in Keran sector,” police had said.
