New Delhi: A head constable of Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday night was killed and seven others were injured after Pakistan continued to violate ceasefire in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Constable Rai Singh lost his life in heavy firing and shelling by Pakistan which was responded to by Indian troops.

“Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in Manjakot sector of Rajouri district after midnight,” the senior BSF official said.

Days ago, a BSF jawan and a woman were injured in Sunderbani and Nowshera sectors. The Pak military forces used 120 mm mortars, automatics and small arms in the assault.
