New Delhi: Supreme Court on Monday extended interim bail of Sahara chief Subrata Roy till February 6, 2017 asking him to deposit Rs 600 crore for remaining out of jail.

“If deposits are not made by February 6, Sahara chief will have to surrender,” the SC said.

The apex court has also asked SEBI and amicus curiae Shekhar Naphade to respond to the fresh repayment plan submitted in court by Subrata Roy.

The SC had earlier extended Roy’s parole till November 28 after being informed that he had deposited Rs 200 crore with market regulator Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in compliance with the court order.
