New Delhi: In the Congress Parliamentary Party meet that took place on Friday, Congress scion Rahul Gandhi slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by calling him a ‘prisoner of his own image’ who is more ‘interested in doing only TRP politics’.

“The country has suffered tremendous damage as a result of vanity and incompetence of our PM”, he said.  The Congress V-P added, “We never gave India a PM who based his entire policy making strategy on TRPs.”

During the meet, Gandhi even pointed out that there is an increase terror attack and ceasefire violations.

“There have been 21 major attacks and hundreds of ceasefire violations since the strikes,” said Rahul.

For the first time on Friday, Rahul Gandhi chaired the Congress parliamentary party meet in absence of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

The demonetisation move that was announced by PM Modi on November 8 has been attacked by Opposition in Parliament. The Opposition have demanded the presence of the PM in both the Houses to discuss the issue.
