Gujarat: In another shocking incident of crime, around Rs 90 lakh was looted on Monday from a Muthoot Finance branch in Dhoraji, Gujarat.
According to reports, around 3-4 people are reportedly being said to be involved in this incident and further probe in the case is underway. However, it has not been cleared yet whether the money was in new or old currency notes.
So far, the police has not been able to identify the robbers but efforts are on to nab the culprits with the help of a CCTV footage.
Few months ago, in another case of robbery, five and a half kilograms of gold jewellery and Rs 1,34,000 were stolen from a Muthoot mini finance centre in Salemwas in Salem.
The robbers had entered the shop by making a hole in the back wall. The incident came to light when the officials of the finance agency opened the store after the Independence Day holiday.
