A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker has been allegedly hacked to death by CPM worker in the Mukkattukara area of Thrissur, Kerala on Sunday.
As per reports, the 20-year-old BJP worker was stabbed during a festival at Kokkulangara temple.
Following this murder the BJP has called for a strike in the area.
The rise in conflict between the BJP-RSS alliance and the CPI (M) has been at a rife for the past few months. Earlier too, the BJP had accused the CPI (M) for murdering one of its party workers. A 52-year old BJP worker, Mullapram Ezhuthan Santhosh was killed when he was alone in his house.
