NEW DELHI: Former Indian Premier League Head Lalit Modi has taken the controversy revolving around him to another level now. The IPL king continues to make ‘revelations’ and ‘questions’ on his Twitter wall which are with each passing day increasing troubles for the Indian political leaders.

Lalit Modi, in a series of tweets on Saturday has accused the Congress Vice-President, Rahul Gandhi of being the beneficiary of his ‘hospitality’ at the time he was the IPL Commissioner.

In one of his tweets, Modi has asked Gandhi and Vadra to explain if they ever received any hospitality from him.

This was followed by another controversial tweet that asked Vadra and his politician brother-in-law if the two declared this to the Congress.

When this did not seem enough, Lalit Modi then posted an image which has Robert Vadra in the frame and also a glimpse of Rahul Gandhi. 

The picture shows the influential men sitting with other celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone taken reportedly during one of the IPL matches. Modi and Gandhi are seen talking on the phone in the picture.

Not many days ago, Lalit had tweeted that he met Maneka Gandhi’s son and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Varun Gandhi in London and offered to settle all with Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

Apart from this, he also claimed of meeting Priyanka and Robert Vadra in a restaurant in London.

The political storm began after External Affairs Minister Sushma and Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje who are at the centre of the controversy extended their help to the former IPL Chief.
