Addressing his first press conference after being sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that all the promises made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to the people of UP will be fulfilled.

Speaking about his government and its objectives, the new UP CM Adityanath said that his government will work for all section of society without any partiality. He also asserted that the administration will be made accountable and answerable in the state.

“Our government will work towards creating job opportunities, better education system and will take care of everyone’s interest,” Yogi Adityanath said.

The Gorakhpur MP also vowed to end the law and order problems in the sprawling and the country’s most populous state.

“There will be no discrimination in Uttar Pradesh under me,” Adityanath added.

Calling the swearing in of a new BJP government a historic occasion, the Chief Minister recalled BJP ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, saying his government was committed to fulfilling his dream of antyodaya.

“We want to assure the people of UP that our government will take the state on the path of development and prosperity and would do everything that it takes to do so,” Yodi Adityanath said. 

“We will adhere to the credo of ‘development for all’ initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Adityanath added.

Yogi Adityanath took oath as the new Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in a glittering ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. 

The swearing-in ceremony took place at Lucknow’s Smriti Upvan. After the BJP announced Yogi Adityanath’s name for position of Chief Minister on Saturday.
