On Wednesday, Pakistan Army opened fire on the Indian Army troops in Keran sector of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir. As per reports, 2 army jawans were martyred and at least 3 are said to be severely injured in the firing that was opened by the Pakistani side on the Army personnel.
The incident took place just a few hours after the Indian Army had gunned down three terrorists in an overnight encounter in Budgam district of Kashmir.

The tragic incident comes at a time just hours after 7 Amarnath yatris were killed and around 19 were injured after a group of terrorists opened fire at the bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The terrorists not only fired at the pilgrims but also opened fire on the security officials who were on duty to help the Amarnath pilgrims.
