After being called ‘Pappu’ and ‘immature’ at times, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Friday once again took a dig at Congress vice president saying that Rahul Gandhi has returned from his maternal grandparents’ house without learning anything from them.

Speaking to the media, Haryana Sports Minister Anil Vij commented on Rahul Gandhi’s recent visit to Italy where his maternal grandparents are living, said that the latter returned “empty-handed” and did not get any wisdom from there.

“India was hoping that Rahul Gandhi will find some wisdom when he went to his maternal grandparents, but he came empty handed (Hindustan ummeed kar rha tha ki naani ghar jaayega buddhi le ke aayega, lekin lagta hai wahan se khaali haath aa gaya),” said Vij.

Speaking further, Haryana minister said that Congress was solely responsible for the ongoing unrest in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

“The way Congress ruled the state, made policies and harboured the separatists, it led to such a condition of Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi should apologise to the nation”, he added.

Earlier, Union Minister Smriti Irani also hit out at Rahul Gandhi for blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies for creating space for terrorists in Kashmir.

“After returning from strategic and very well-known holiday, Gandhi has chosen to attack the Prime Minister, especially when the whole nation stands united against terrorism,” she said.

BJP also called him an “immature mind” who does not know the history of this nation.

“What personal benefit can anyone draw out of bloodshed, but it only shows an immature mind who does not know the history of his own family. Because, if anybody is singularly responsible for the mess that we are watching in Jammu and Kashmir, it is the Nehru family,” said BJP.

Rahul Gandhi in a tweet had said that PM Modi’s policies and his pursuit of “short-term political gain” created space for terrorists in the Valley.
